Vincent Lee Hong Fay

Vincent is the founder and CEO of the Wavelet Group of companies. He graduated with Bachelor of Engineering (First Class Hons) from University of Manchester (previously known as UMIST), and subsequently obtained his Master of Philosophy in Signal Processing from University of Cambridge, UK. Prior to founding the company, Vincent held several positions in DBS Bank, Singapore between 2000 to 2003.

Mr Choong chairs a VEE Group which consists of 14 members with turnover of about RM130 million. He had been a CEO managing businesses for the past 25 years in various sectors in manufacturing, logistic services, commodities trading, trading import and export.

Previous to these, he had been attached to government sector in plantation industry and to commercial sector in agrichemicals industry.

Mr Choong is currently active in involving with consulting, advising and coaching in areas on the changes in organization, capability and capacity alignments in business concerns for growth. He is experienced in using different practical management tools to assist the CEOs and their team especially the SMEs to map out their strategies for facing future challenges. He will bring with him the experiences of entrepreneurship and as practitioner in management of a business.

Mr Choong holds a MBA from University of Cranfield, UK. He is active in participation in various church’s activities, social concerned projects, and outdoor adventures. He is married with three children.

Working Experience
7 years of experience in the IT industry, specifically in Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) and E-commerce. Having been involved in software development, project management and end user support for various chain-stores customers.

Shengzhong Feng

Professor, Deputy Director of Institute of Advanced Computing and Digital Engineering. His research focuses on parallel algorithms, grid computing and bioinformatics. Specially, now his interests are in developing novel and effective methods for digital city modeling and application. Before came to SIAT, CAS, he had been working in the Institute of Computing Technology, CAS, and participated in the Dawning supercomputer research and development. He graduated from the University of Science and Technology of China in 1991, and received his PhD from Beijing Institute of Technology in 1997.

Pengfu CHEN, Deputy General Manager

He received the highest level network engineer certification, CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert), in 2009. His research focus on wireless networks, cloud computing, mobile computing, high-speed networking, high-performance computer architecture, VPN network security.He received the B.Eng. degree (owned First Class Honors and Outstanding Graduates) in software engineering from Shenzhen University, the Master Degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
