1.Product Categories
• User is able to setup as many product categories as they wish.
• Each product category can have unlimited level of sub-categories.
2.Product Catalog
• User is able to setup as many products as they wish.
• For each product, user can upload up to 3 different sizes of product image to go with it for use in different pages. For example, the small one to appear along side the product descriptions, the large one to appear if the dealer wants to have a better view of the product.
• For each product, user can further specify the product options. Product options are used to represent different colors or different sizes. Each of the product options will have its own price tag. When making orders, dealers will choose the product options they wish order.
• For each product, user can also recommend a list of complimentary products.
3.Promotions
User can setup promotions to give discounts to the dealers. There are various types of discount schemes :
• Discount on total purchase
■ This type of discount is calculated base on the total purchase amount, regardless of the products purchase.
■ To enjoy this discount, user can configure the system to request for the promotion code from the dealer and only valid promotion code is entitled to the discount.
• Discount on selected items
■ User can configure the system to only give discount to selected categories of products when ordered online.
• Discount on complimentary products
■ This is basically a purchase-with-purchase type of promotions.
■ User can setup the system to allow dealer to purchase certain complimentary products when the dealer purchase a particular product.
4.Marketing
• User can constantly update their landing page to highlight different products according to festivals.
• User can also constantly change the banners to create different look and feel.
5.Shopping Cart
• Dealer can browse through the catalog and add as many products as they want to the shopping cart.
• As long as the dealer has not check out the shopping cart, the dealer can proceed to make changes to the shopping cart, for example, add more products, edit the order quantity or remove certain products.
• Once confirmed the products in the shopping cart, the dealer can proceed to check out. Upon check out, a Sales Order will be created. The dealer will make use of the Sales Order number for future tracking.
6.Order Tracking
• Dealers can check the order status by either specifying the order date or simply by specifying the order number.
• Besides order status, dealers can also check out-standing payment here.
7.Creating Sales Order from EMP
• Salesman can also help the dealers to place orders.
• To do so, the salesman just need to log in to EMP, and create the Sales Order from EMP Distribution module.
